Children need to feel safe and have classrooms that combine learning and fun, as a child’s first experiences of school are among the most important experiences in life and learning.

Gyanodaya Gurukul imparts primary focus on exploration, communication of ideas, and making connections with real life, thereby making learning relevant and enjoyable. Gyanodaya Gurukul emphasizes inquiry-based and experiential learning by appealing to the senses of the child. Along with the development of language, numeracy, and understanding of the environment and the world around, equal importance is given to communication skills, socialization, emotional expression, literary appreciation, aesthetics, and nutritional awareness.

At Gyanodaya Gurukul, we follow theLearning Centre culture, where classrooms are learner-centric and designed to cater to the diverse needs of learners. Various learning corners and activity areas have been thoughtfully set up, some of which are highlighted below:

• Whole Group Area – Learners are introduced to and guided through the day’s activities across various centers.
• Small Group Area – Facilitates focused interactions between the facilitator and students on a one-on-one or small-group basis.
• Exploration Center – Encourages learners to explore hands-on activities related to the concept of the day.
• Math Center – Mathematical concepts are introduced through engaging play-way methods.
• Construction Center – Provides learners with materials to shape and express their imagination around a given concept.
• Dramatic Play Area – Enables role-play activities to help learners understand and enact concepts using provided materials.
• Reading Corner – Offers a rich collection of books aligned with the concept, allowing learners to read and explore at their own pace.
